When I have found a property, what do I do next and what are the additional costs?

We can make appointments for you and introduce to, two national Spanish banks, this leaves you free which bank you prefer to use.
The bank you choose can help with any queries you may regarding taxes, mortgages and non-resident banking. Spanish mortgages are available subject to status.
We can also recommend English speaking Spanish solicitors who will deal with all the legal implications and act on your behalf. They will ensure that all the necessary searches are done, the property is free of charges and all the necessary planning and building permissions are in place, they can also assist with the application of your NIE documents.
When you have chosen your property, you will be given the price for the property in €. Bear in mind however, that we can also give you an indication of the price in £ based on the exchange rate on that day.
However the property could cost more or less than you had planned as the exchange rate between £ and € changes constantly.
Especially when working to a fixed budget, it may be worth considering fixing the exchange rate for all of your future stage payments. This can be done in various ways:
