Ciudad Quesada
Located approximately 40 minutes from Alicante Airport and 60 minutes from Corvera Airport, Ciudad Quesada is a very popular town that falls under the boundary of Rojales, a small Spanish town. The town was the dream of, and is named after, Justo Quesada a local businessman who back in the early 1970s wanted to build a town where everyone could enjoy the Spanish lifestyle and climate.
Over 40 years later the dream continues to be realised and enjoyed by thousands of people from around the world.
Properties in Ciudad Quesada consist of luxury detached villas, semi-detached villas, townhouses and apartments, some of which are on communities with communal pools and others enjoy their own private pools.
Ciudad Quesada boasts an excellent variety of facilities including banks, bars, restaurants and supermarkets to name but a few. It is ideal for either a permanent move or a holiday home. As well as the usual amenities there is a 4-star Spa hotel called La Laguna and an 18-hole Championship golf course, La Marquesa. The former European Ryder Cup star Miguel Angel Jimenez can often be seen enjoying the course, complete with his customary cigar and bottle of Rioja.
Ciudad Quesada is only 10 minutes by car from Guardamar del Segura where the golden sandy beach stretches for 10 kilometres to La Mata and Torrevieja.
